New season of the FIM X-Trial World Championship started with a bang!

The new season of the FIM X-Trial World Championship got off to a great start yesterday at the X-Trial Madrid event. After a tense race, last year’s World Championship silver medalist and Tallinn race winner Jaime Busto claimed the victory ahead of the reigning champion Toni Bou and veteran Adam Raga. The top three therefore belonged to Spaniards competing at home soil.

“Starting the season with the win is special and to do so in such a demanding Final, where any mistake was vital, makes it even more important. Truthfully, I was a little nervous at the start, but the more Sections we went through, the better I felt on the bike. Now the important thing is to deliver consistently,” said Jaime Busto, winner of X-Trial Madrid.

A total of 8 events will be held throughout the season, taking the world’s best trial riders to six different countries. The culmination of the season is planned for April 26 in Tallinn.

Tickets for the X-TRIAL World Championship event in Unibet Arena, Tallinn, are available in and can be found in Piletitasku.
